Duff, Leone Propose 100% State Income Tax Exemption for Military Retirement Pay

The two state senators, each of whom represents part of Darien, want Connecticut to replace the current 50-percent exemption. Senate Majority Leader Bob Duff, a Norwalk Democrat, and state Sen. Carlo Leone, a Democrat from Stamford, announced Wednesday at the Darien VFW building on Noroton Avenue that they're proposing a bigger tax break for retired veterans .
