Stamford principal search surprise to BoE

Thursday's announcement that the search had begun for a permanent principal at Stamford High School took Board of Education members by surprise last week. The announcement by Stephen Falcone , the district's head of human resources, that he would be discussing the details on Tuesday with the board's labor committee came as a news to committee members, along with Advocate readers.
