Connecticut Dentist Pleads Guilty in Medicaid Fraud Case

Attorney General George Jepsen announced today the state reached a settlement with a Stamford dentist and 13 of his practices and management companies on fraud allegations and civil claims from an illegal Medicaid billing scheme. Mehran Zamani and his companies were among 28 individuals, dental practices and corporations named in a civil lawsuit filed by the state in May 2012.
