Police: Stamford Man Walked Out Of Restaurant With Five Bottles Of Alcohol

A thirsty man who wanted the good times to continue was arrested after he tried to steal alcohol from a downtown Stamford restaurant at lunch time on Friday, police said. Douglas Panetta, 54, of 114 Morgan St., was charged with third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny.
