A Stamford man who was arguing with his girlfriend Sunday night, assaulted her as she drove and then grabbed the wheel of her car, sending it into a fence, police said. Taylor Williams Tobias, 24, of 1425 Bedford St., is charged with second-degree breach of peace, third-degree assault, second-degree criminal mischief and criminal violation of a restraining order.
