Bridgeport man charged with firearm possession in Stamford

A Bridgeport man is facing weapons charges after leading Stamford police on a foot chase through an East Side neighborhood in which an officer was injured. Jonathan Bonaparte , 26, of Center St., in Bridgeport, was charged Tuesday with criminal possession of a firearm, altering the serial number of a weapon and interfering with police.
