Stamford land meant for boatyard now open space for good

With very little fanfare, the Board of Representatives approved receipt of two open-space grants Monday -- $419,250 for riverfront conservation on Main Street and $325,000 for a waterfront parcel adjacent to the Czecik Marina Park. At the urging of Rep. Cynthia Reeder , the board added a caveat to the waterfront park plan.
