1 man shot at Stamford boarding house

Authorities say the suspect waited for the victim outside the boarding house at 293 Fairfield Ave. and opened fire when he stepped out of the front door around 2:30 a.m. Police are searching for a suspect who fired seven shots into a Stamford boarding house early Saturday morning, injuring a 24-year-old man.
