Police: Stamford Man Beats 76-Year-Old Mother, Who Is In Grave Condition

A 76-year-old woman is fighting for her life after her son savagely beat her Monday afternoon, Stamford police said Tuesday morning. Timothy F. Anderson, 42, of 58 Sleepy Hollow Lane, was charged with first-degree assault of an elderly person, first-degree unlawful restraint, third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
