Fairfield County Honors The Holocaust With Remembrance Day Events

April 12, Jewish Federation of Western Connecticut, Southbury: Newtown resident Rita L. Frost who has been researching the heroic deeds of Varian Fry since 1977, will speak at 4 p.m. Fry saved over 2,000 artists, scientists and intellectuals trapped in Nazi-controlled Vichey, France. Frost and her friend Marion Percy of Stamford have found 10 survivors but continue to hunt for more.
