Paul Macari accepted the Charles Lupinacci Humanitarian Award for the North Stamford Exchange Club in a ceremony at Madonia Restaurant. Macari started his advocacy for individuals with developmental disabilities while volunteering in the concession stand at the Connecticut Special Olympics over 25 years ago.
