Proposed Stamford master plan receives public input at hearings

The planning board will hold a second public hearing on the proposed Stamford 2025 Master Plan at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 14, in the fourth floor cafeteria of the Stamford Government Center, 888 Washington Blvd. Written comments on the plan can be sent to Planning Board Chair Teresa Dell, c/o David Woods, Land Use Bureau, 888 Washington Blvd., Stamford, CT 06901, or emailed to DWoods@StamfordCT.gov. STAMFORD -- The streets east of the Stamford train station to Pacific Street and south to Henry Street in the South End should be included in the downtown of the city and allowed the most intensive level of development, Joseph Truglia told members of the city's planning board Tuesday night.
