Alarmed by a low water pressure problem affecting more than 20 hydrants in a large swath on Stamford's West Side, city fire and water company officials are working to find out what is choking the area's water supply. The affected area is densely populated, with hundreds of tightly packed homes and businesses, including Stamford Hospital .
