Stamford may consider smoking ban in parks

Smoke if you've got `em because before too long, you might not be able to -- at least, not in city parks. The Parks and Recreation Commission passed a no-smoking policy at its March meeting, and the city's health director will likely entreat the Board of Representatives to back that policy up with an ordinance making smoking in city parks illegal.
