Stamford Rail Commuters Lose Parking

Metro-North commuters who usually use the huge garages downtown for parking should brace for shortages: The state on Monday closed off 727 of the 1,927 spaces as a precaution. The older garage at the Stamford Transportation Center is closed until further notice, the state transportation department announced Monday afternoon.
