Stamford State's Attorney David Cohen blasted school officials for allowing the district's reputation to trump children's safety, in comments he made in court Wednesday before two Stamford High School principals were granted a probationary program to erase criminal charges that they failed to report a sexual affair between a teacher and student. "...They are part of and steeped in a bureaucratic culture at the Stamford Board of Education that puts institutional defense and system reputation above student safety," Cohen said.
