Ferguson Library to rename main library after late president Ernest A. DiMattia

The Ferguson Library in Stamford will rededicate its Main Library at Bedford and Broad Streets in memory of late President Ernest A. DiMattia, Jr. in a ceremony at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 7. The building will be known as the Ernest A. DiMattia, Jr. Building of The Ferguson Library. Mr. DiMattia, known to his many friends as Ernie, was president of The Ferguson Library from 1976 until his death in June.
