Company quietly dispenses with Stamford lab

A onetime pharmaceutical lab in a Stamford building has been gutted, two years after the business was sold to a Maryland company that was later reprimanded by federal regulators for producing drug compounds in unsterile conditions in the lab. In December 2012, Pharmagen spent $1.1 million to acquire Bryce Rx Laboratories, which prepared drug compounds for other pharmaceutical makers at a small facility at 30 Buxton Farm Road, just off High Ridge Road and overlooking the Merritt Parkway.
