Stamford officials announced Tuesday that they have discovered that EOS CCA, the city's contractor responsible for handling collections for the past eight years, has overcharged taxpayers who were delinquent on their motor vehicle taxes. According to an announcement from Mayor David Martin, EOS mailed incorrect delinquent motor vehicle tax bills that erroneously charged delinquent payers an additional one year of interest for the 2012 and 2013 tax years.
