A Stamford judge Tuesday doubled the appearance bond on a jailed Stamford man for obsessively writing to his former girlfriend from jail even though a Stamford judge prohibited the man from contacting the woman. Deno Dawes , 25, of Spruce St., was charged with two counts of violating a protective order and tampering with a witness.
