Christie stumps for Foley in Connecticut race

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who chairs the Republican Governors Association, was returning to Connecticut on Tuesday to campaign for GOP gubernatorial candidate Tom Foley as the group and other national organizations invest heavily in the hotly contested race. Christie, a frequent political sparring partner of Democratic Gov. Dannel P. Malloy, was scheduled to make a campaign stop with Foley at a Stamford restaurant.
